Windows NT
Embedded (Windows NTe) is designed for applications
requiring the features of Windows NT without the resources
of a full server or workstation. Windows NTe requires
8MB of storage and 12MB RAM for a minimal installation.
Windows NTe provides manageability and networking capabilities
for all applications.
Using Windows NT Embedded Target Designer, the embedded
version of Windows NT allows you to pick what components
of the OS are included. This allows a smaller image
to be created for space constrained devices. Off-theshelf
device drivers and software for Windows NT can be imported
and used in Windows NTe.
Micro/sys provides configuration assistance and BSPs
for select Pentium-based embedded PCs. |
