VxWorks® is
an industry standard, high-powered 32-Bit RTOS that
supports a variety of architectures. It can be used
on embedded PC with or without a BIOS, depending on
the application's needs. VxWorks® can be configured
to run in a headless system, i.e. without display or
user input devices, making it ideal for deeply embedded
applications.
Micro/sys offers Board Support Packages (BSPs) for
several single board computers. The BSPs include customized
configurations and drivers for the applicable board.
When used with the Wind River Tornado 2.x integrated
development environment, developers can quickly develop,
debug and monitor applications that are running on
the embedded PC. Developers may also create boot ROMs
through the Tornado 2.x environment to further customize
the boot process for their particular needs.
The Micro/sys VxWorks® BSP contains the drivers
and default configuration for building VxWorks® projects
and boot ROMs. |
