Want to use
Linux in your embedded application?
Micro/sys now features its own Linux distribution designed
specifically for Micro/sys Embedded PCs. Compatible
hardware systems boot a precompiled Linux kernel directly
from on-board flash, and download their root filesystem
from your desktop computer via NFS. This means you
can use your standard development tools to create,
compile and debug your application. Any changes you
make will be automatically reflected by the target
hardware!
The included graphical setup utility allows you to
configure the board as a full Linux system or a simple
execution environment which will launch your application
immediately upon startup. You may also use the utility
to install or remove any of the included packages for
easy system administration.
In addition, the Micro/sys Linux Distribution retains
binary compatibility with RedHat 6.2 systems. Want
to use an existing utility or system service? Just
copy it to the target's filesystem and you're ready
to go.
With the Micro/sys Linux Distribution, you'll have
your embedded Linux application up and running in no
time! |
