General Software
Embedded DOS is provided free of charge on single board
computers that use the General Software BIOS. This
combination provides an inexpensive, easily configured
runtime environment. The interface to the operating
system is very similar to that of MSDOS.
GS-DOS can be loaded from hard disks, floppy disks
or solid-state flash disks depending on the space requirements
of the project. GS-DOS supports hard drives up to 2GB
with the FAT file system.
GS-DOS comes pre-installed in flash on many Micro/sys
embedded PCs. |
